Web Design & Development Internship

The opportunity

Aven Media is a Sweden-based creative company with a global outlook. We are inviting curious and committed people in Uganda to contribute ideas, develop practical skills and grow through a supervised internship.

What you'll work on

• Help design and build responsive websites and landing pages.
• Support updates, maintenance, website testing and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to UI/UX improvements, site structure and accessibility.
• Work alongside creative colleagues to turn brand ideas into web experiences.

What we're looking for

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Wix, WordPress or similar tools.
• Interest in user experience, responsive design and usability.
• Any website project, code sample or GitHub portfolio is welcome.

Students, recent graduates and self-taught candidates are welcome. We value initiative, creativity and willingness to learn more than years of formal experience.

What you will gain

Mentorship, practical project experience, new skills, portfolio development and exposure to collaborative creative work. There is also the possibility of a longer-term position based on performance and business needs.
