Content Creator & Social Media Specialist

The opportunity

Aven Media is a Sweden-based creative and strategic communications company with a global outlook. We work across branding, digital media, storytelling, communication strategy and production. We are building our professional team in Uganda and are looking for people who value creative quality, good relationships and reliable delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and produce content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
• Write captions, scripts, stories and posts in suitable formats and brand voices.
• Coordinate content calendars, creative briefs, approval processes and publishing.
• Collaborate with video editors and graphic designers on campaigns.
• Monitor engagement and use performance insights to improve content decisions.
• Develop ideas informed by relevant audiences, trends and client objectives.

Qualifications & experience

• At least two years of relevant experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience creating content or managing social media channels.
• Strong writing, storytelling, platform knowledge and digital content judgement.
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite or equivalent tools.
• An accessible portfolio of published or original content.

Expected results

• Distinctive content calendars and published content.
• Campaign reports and audience insights.
