Graphic Design Internship

The opportunity

Aven Media is a Sweden-based creative company with a global outlook. We are inviting curious and committed people in Uganda to contribute ideas, develop practical skills and grow through a supervised internship.

What you'll work on

• Design graphics for social media, campaigns, presentations and promotional materials.
• Support visual identities, branding concepts and creative assets for clients.
• Collaborate with writers, video editors and marketers to translate ideas into clear visuals.
• Prepare design files and respond constructively to feedback.

What we're looking for

• A strong eye for layout, typography, composition and colour.
• Some experience with Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or equivalent tools.
• Samples of personal, university or freelance creative work are welcome.

Students, recent graduates and self-taught candidates are welcome. We value initiative, creativity and willingness to learn more than years of formal experience.

What you will gain

Mentorship, practical project experience, new skills, portfolio development and exposure to collaborative creative work. There is also the possibility of a longer-term position based on performance and business needs.
