Job Description

The Artisan II (Pump Operator) will be responsible for performing technical and craft-related duties under supervision. The main duties include:

  • Performing specified craft jobs under supervision.
  • Performing cleaning of the work environment.
  • Taking care of tools and equipment.
  • Assisting in operational repairs of machinery and buildings.
  • Assisting in fitting and turning activities.
  • Ensuring the proper functioning of plumbing and sanitary systems.
  • Performing any other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualification requirements:

  • Holder of Form IV certificate.
  • Must have one of the following qualifications from a recognized institution:
    • Competence Based Education and Training (CBET) Level II; or
    • Trade Test Grade II; or
    • Certificate in Pump Operator.

Remuneration

Salary scale: PGSS 2.1
