Bitz IT Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Stakeholder Engagement & Communications Specialist to support a major Enterprise MIS Transformation Programme.This is a change communications and stakeholder engagement role, not simply a media or PR position.

The successful candidate will lead stakeholder segmentation, engagement planning, change communications, feedback mechanisms and coordinated communication across internal and external stakeholder groups.

Key responsibilities will include stakeholder mapping, stakeholder journeys, engagement strategies, leadership communications, town halls, workshops, branch communications, FAQs, feedback mechanisms, sentiment monitoring, resistance-management support and go-live/hypercare communications.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, Organisational Communication, Business, Social Sciences or related discipline

• Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience

• At least 4 years supporting change, transformation or major institutional programmes

• Demonstrated stakeholder analysis and segmentation experience

• Demonstrated communication-plan/campaign design and implementation

• Strong facilitation and professional writing capability

• Experience translating complex institutional or technology change for non-technical audiences

• Strong English; Kiswahili is highly desirable

DESIRABLE

Change-management qualification; public-sector experience; ERP/digital transformation; regional or branch engagement; citizen/customer communications; visual/multimedia communication; and pulse/sentiment measurement.

IMPORTANT: A strong media or PR background without evidence of organisational change experience will not be sufficient.
