Senior iOS Automation Engineer

Lead end-to-end quality engineering and automation for business-critical iOS mobile applications. This role combines senior-level QA ownership, scalable mobile automation, production support, release validation, and cross-functional quality leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and own QA activities for iOS mobile applications.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable iOS automation frameworks.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Manage production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions.

• Support hotfix validation, release activities, risk assessments, and go/no-go decisions.

• Improve automation coverage and optimize test execution through CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform API testing and backend validation.

• Mentor junior QA engineers and drive QA best practices and continuous process improvement.

• Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and defect status updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.

• Strong hands-on experience testing and automating iOS mobile applications.

• Hands-on expertise with XCUITest, Appium, and Selenium.

• Strong programming or scripting experience in Swift, Java, or JavaScript.

• Experience with API testing and CI/CD-driven automation.

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience handling production issues and business-critical applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Postman or REST Assured for API testing.

• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps for CI/CD.

• Strong experience in production issue management, root cause analysis, and release support.
