Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer for our client, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to address complex business challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and test high-quality software applications.

- Implement robust and scalable code according to best practices.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior team members.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate them into development workflows.

- Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to continuous improvement in software development processes.

- Ensure security and data protection best practices are adhered to in application design and development.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 6 years of proven work experience in software engineering.

- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies.

- Experience with database management and design, preferably in SQL and NoSQL.

- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

- Active Secret clearance required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor less experienced software engineers.
