We're looking for a Country Growth Lead to drive JoinBeUs's launch in Kenya. You'll build partnerships with study-abroad consultancies, universities, international language schools, and primary/secondary schools teaching French, German, or other languages across Nairobi. Responsibilities include identifying and approaching institutions, negotiating referral or promotional partnerships, representing JBU at meetings and events, and reporting directly to the founder.
We're looking for someone with an existing network in education or youth-focused institutions, a track record of building something from scratch, and comfort operating with minimal structure. You should be confident pitching decision-makers, persistent with follow-ups, and motivated by ownership over a fixed routine. Prior experience in business development, partnerships, or institutional sales is a strong plus, though hustle and network matter more than formal credentials.
Compensation includes a base salary plus performance-based commission tied to partnerships secured and referral growth. This is a founding-stage opportunity with room to grow as JBU expands across East Africa.
To apply, send your CV along with a short note on how you'd approach securing your first 5 institutional partnerships in Nairobi with zero budget.
