Chinese Translator

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chinese Translator to facilitate effective communication between Chinese-speaking personnel and local teams within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will provide accurate interpretation and translation services while promoting seamless cross-cultural communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret verbal communication between Mandarin and English/Swahili.
• Translate documents, manuals, reports, and business correspondence.
• Support meetings, training sessions, and day-to-day workplace communication.
• Bridge communication gaps between management and employees.
• Maintain confidentiality of all translated information.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Language, Translation, Linguistics, International Relations, or a related field.
• HSK Level 1, 2, 3, or 4 certification is required.
• Mandarin Language Certificate is an added advantage.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in translation, interpretation, or a similar role. Fresh graduates with strong Mandarin proficiency are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent spoken and written Mandarin and English (knowledge of Swahili is an added advantage).
• Strong communication, listening, and interpretation skills.
• High attention to detail, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
