- Responsibilities
Assist in developing annual work plans, budgets, and reports for projects under the Montreal Protocol on substances that deplete the ozone layer
Support implementation of training workshops for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) technicians, customs, and enforcement officers.
Support data collection, analysis, and timely reporting to the Ozone Secretariat and the Multilateral Fund.
Facilitate stakeholder consultations, awareness campaigns, and World Ozone Day events.
Support enforcement of Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) Regulations and monitoring of import/export licenses.
Integrate gender considerations in all project activities and maintain sex-disaggregated participation data.
Undertake any other duties assigned by the National Ozone Officer.
- Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Physics with Meteorology or related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in project implementation or financial administration
- Knowledge of Botswana Government financial procedures and environmental governance will be an added advantage
- Salary
- P10, 500.00 per month
