Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of technicians and artisans.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Experience in maintaining and repairing crushing plants, conveyors, screening plants, generators, pumps, and other industrial equipment.
• Good planning, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy and ability to prepare maintenance reports.
• Flexible to work beyond normal working hours and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Must be willing to work in Mai Mahiu.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise the Repairs & Maintenance team.
• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all plant and equipment.
• Ensure timely repair of breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime.
• Manage maintenance schedules, job cards, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate procurement of spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Monitor maintenance costs and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and workshop efficiency.
