Job Role The Tendering Officer manages the preparation, submission, and administration of tenders within the aviation sector. The role ensures compliance with procurement policies, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with stakeholders to secure contracts and maintain transparency. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Ensure timely and compliant tender submissions. Strengthen procurement governance and transparency. Support negotiation and contract award processes. Maintain accurate tender documentation and records. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Tender Preparation & Submission Prepare and submit tender documents in line with aviation procurement standards. Review tender requirements and ensure compliance. Coordination & Compliance Liaise with finance and legal teams for contract terms. Track tender timelines, submissions, and outcomes. Documentation & Reporting Maintain tender records and documentation. Prepare tender status reports and summaries. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. 3–5 years’ experience in tendering/procurement, preferably in aviation. Knowledge of aviation procurement regulations and compliance. Added advantage: CIPS certification, ERP procurement systems experience.
