Technical Specialist – Expert

Job Summary:

Seeking a mainframe expert to support critical enterprise systems, with deep expertise in CICS, DB2, Endevor, IMS, JCL, and Z/OS — focusing on configuration/release management, SQL optimization, and CICS administration.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Support and troubleshoot the Z/OS operating system

·        Manage configuration/release processes using Endevor

·        Evaluate and optimize complex SQL queries for performance

·        Support DB2 tools and utilities

·        Provide CICS administration and debugging support

·        Collaborate with application developers and DIT teams

Required Skills & Certifications:

·        7+ years knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships/functionality

·        7+ years’ experience with configuration/release management support for Endevor software

·        7+ years of knowledge of SQL programming language and techniques

·        7+ years of knowledge of tools and utilities supporting DB2

·        7+ years of ability to evaluate and optimize complex SQL queries

·        Mainframe proficiency in CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS, and JCL

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

·        Experience with middleware technologies

·        Familiarity with MQ systems
