Shelling Machine Operator

Responsibilities:
Operate shelling machines by loading raw cashew nuts into the machines and monitoring the shelling process.
Adjust machine settings, including speed, pressure, and blade gaps, based on nut size to minimize kernel breakage.
Conduct quality inspections on shelled kernels to identify breakage, shell residue, or other defects.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues, clear jams, perform routine cleaning, and report major faults to the maintenance team.
Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE, including gloves, goggles, and ear protection.
Meet daily production targets while maintaining low kernel breakage rates.
Maintain accurate records of machine runtime, production output, downtime, and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience operating shelling machines or similar production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to monitor and adjust machine settings for efficient production.
Strong attention to quality and detail.
Basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance skills.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
Must be willing to work in Mowe-Ibafo, Ogun State.
Remuneration: NGN 120,000 - 150,000
