Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and other relevant safety standards
• Investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions
• Conduct HSE inductions, safety training, and toolbox talks
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain HSE records and reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND in a relevant discipline
• ISO Certification (Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer) is required
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Safety/HSE Officer in a manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation
• Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work independently
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and promote a strong safety culture.
