Job Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Local Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and financial planning. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial guidance, ensure accurate financial management, optimize processes, and support business growth through effective financial decision-making.   • Oversee and manage all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial policies.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and management accounts.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and accounting standards.
  • Manage cash flow, financial controls, and risk management processes.
  • Lead financial analysis to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members to enhance performance.
  • Coordinate audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Review accounting processes and implement improvements for better financial management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting and any other related field.
  • Ideally, candidates should be retired or former employees of the local tax bureau, or professionals from reputable local accounting firms.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent is required.
  • Proven experience in senior finance management or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Salary is open for negotiation
