Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Explain concepts clearly and develop students’ analytical thinking, scientific inquiry, and problem-solving skills.
• Use varied teaching strategies to support students with different learning abilities.
• Prepare and administer assignments, quizzes, tests, and examinations.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Provide additional academic support to students where necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date academic records.
• Create a positive, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress when required.

Qualifications

Applicants must have:

• A university degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong subject knowledge in the area they are applying to teach.
• Experience teaching students .
• The ability to prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• A recognised teaching qualification is an advantage.
• Cambridge curriculum experience is highly desirable.
