PRODUCTION OFFICER – PENSIONABLE CONTRACT

• Responsibilities

Managing the Production Plant.

Leading a team of production workers to ensure efficient and timely processing of fruits and vegetables strictly in accordance with laid down procedures and quality standards.

Achieve production targets and product specifications.

Minimise waste.

• Requirements

Degree in Food Science or a closely related discipline.

At least four (4) years’ relevant post qualification experience.

Two (2) years of the experience should be at supervisory level responsible for major food processing functions.

Wide experience in production management systems, policies, practices and procedures.

Strong Communication and interpersonal relations.

Assertive and Decisive.

Proactive, Innovative and Initiative.

Analytical Thinking.

Knowledge of Health and Safety Practices.

Good Coordinating Skills.
