The role involves analysing product data, comparing product specifications across different retail platforms, and ensuring accurate product matching to support e-commerce operations for global clients.

• ROLE SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying equivalent or similar products across retail platforms and competitor websites, validating product information, and maintaining accurate product comparison records.

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyse product lists and attributes to identify equivalent products across retail websites.
• Research and match products with high accuracy across different online platforms.
• Provide unique product URLs for successfully matched products.
• Document processes followed when completing product matches.
• Report cases where product URLs cannot be obtained and identify additional requirements needed.
• Communicate challenges encountered on retail platforms.
• Assess confidence levels of product matches and highlight uncertain matches for review.
• Improve product classification and matching processes continuously.
• Maintain high levels of data accuracy and integrity.

• QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to compare product specifications.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, online retail environments, and product databases.
• Experience using data management tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar software.
• Ability to work with large datasets accurately.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Candidates without prior work experience are encouraged to apply if they demonstrate relevant skills and knowledge.
