Job Description
JOB TITLE PROCUREMENT / SUPPLY CHAIN CLERK NATURE OF JOB FULL TIME INDUSTRY MANUFACTURING & DISTRIBUTION SALARY KSHS. 25,000 JOB LOCATION KIAMBU
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Procurement Operations
  • Source quotations, prepare purchase orders, and follow up on deliveries from suppliers.
  • Support supplier coordination to ensure timely procurement of goods and materials.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and filing systems.

Inventory & Stores Management
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials accurately.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records with physical stock.

Supplier & Logistics Coordination
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, deliveries, and order status updates.
  • Track deliveries and ensure procured items are received within agreed timelines.
  • Assist in resolving supply chain or delivery discrepancies promptly.

Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare procurement and inventory reports for management review.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and policies.
  • Support audits by providing procurement and inventory documentation when required.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement, stores, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of procurement procedures, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
