Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring and Securing Premises

Patrolling hospital grounds

Monitoring entrances and exits

Inspecting for safety hazards

Verifying locks and access controls

2. Managing Visitor and Patient Safety

Verifying visitor credentials

Screening for prohibited items

Monitoring visitor movement

De-escalating conflicts before they escalate

3. Handling Emergency Situations

Theft or property crimes

Violent incidents

Medical Emergencies

4. Collaborating with hospital staff

5. Customer Assistance

Providing Directions

Assisting visitors

Supporting accessibility needs

6. Writing reports

Incident reports

Daily Activity Logs

Visitor documentation

Access control records

Emergency response

7. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor in line with departmental needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· KCSE certificate or equivalent.

· Basic knowledge of security systems and procedures.

· Posses a valid certificate of good conduct.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

· Detail-oriented with strong observational skills.

· Willingness to work flexible hours, and weekends.

· Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in security industry

· Hospital work experience will be an added advantage
