Job Description
JOB TITLE PERSONAL DRIVER (PART-TIME / ON-CALL BASIS) NATURE OF JOB PART TIME SALARY KSHS. 2,000 PER DAY JOB LOCATION KANGUNDO ROAD
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Transportation Services
  • Safely transport the employer, family members, or authorized persons to designated destinations as required.
  • Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off while maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times.
  • Plan efficient travel routes to avoid delays and traffic congestion.
  • Be available on short notice based on transport requirements and scheduling needs.

Vehicle Care & Maintenance
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.
  • Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, fueled, and properly maintained at all times.
  • Monitor servicing schedules and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Maintain proper vehicle documentation including insurance and inspection records where applicable.

Safety & Compliance
  • Adhere strictly to traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company/family driving guidelines.
  • Maintain an accident-free driving record and uphold high safety standards.
  • Exercise discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism while handling personal or family assignments.
  • Ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout all journeys.

Administrative Support
  • Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance where required.
  • Assist with occasional errands or related support duties as assigned.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Personal Driver or Family Driver.
  • Valid and accident-free driving license is mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of Nairobi roads, surrounding outskirts, and major towns across Kenya.
  • Excellent driving skills with a strong understanding of road safety practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
  • Flexible and available to work on a need basis, including weekends or evenings where necessary.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Defensive driving and road safety awareness
  • Time management and punctuality
