Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely posting of financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reports, and reconciliations.
- Assist in monitoring suppliers’ costs, marketing expenses, and cost allocation processes.
- Send statements and account reconciliations to clients.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist with internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
- Conduct daily payment follow-up calls and email reminders in line with assigned targets.
- Maintain accurate records of client communications and collection activities.
- Follow up on overdue invoices and secure payment from clients.
- Escalate long-outstanding accounts to the Finance Manager where necessary.
- Assist in updating accounts receivable reports and aging schedules.
- Prepare daily and weekly collection status reports.
- Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Support bank reconciliations and other basic finance operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Perform any other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least CPA Intermediate level or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Ability to professionally handle outboard calls to customers and email correspondence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
