- VACANCY
Malawi Union Conference is a Christian organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church seeking to recruit a competent, organized, professional, and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our team.
- Key Requirements
Be a loyal, baptized, practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Must own a degree in Human Resource Management or above.
Full knowledge of Malawi labour laws such as the Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Workers Compensation Act, and other Acts related to employment.
Knowledge of litigation procedures related to human resources.
Self-starter with hands-on experience in human resource management.
- Key Responsibilities
Sound knowledge and experience in HRM, legislation, governance, policies, and procedures.
HR knowledge of the labour environment in Malawi.
Keep abreast of all legislative and organisational policy changes.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently on HR issues.
Must be fully bilingual and proficient in English and Chichewa.
Be able to create and implement systems for better organization.
