Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct valuations of residential, commercial, industrial, and specialized properties for sales, acquisitions, mortgage, insurance, taxation, and investment purposes.
  • Prepare detailed valuation reports in accordance with professional standards and industry regulations.
  • Carry out property inspections to assess physical condition, market value, and investment potential.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and highest-and-best-use analyses for development projects.
  • Manage residential and commercial property portfolios on behalf of clients.
  • Coordinate lease administration, tenancy management, rent collection, and lease renewals.
  • Conduct routine property inspections and ensure properties are properly maintained.
  • Oversee maintenance activities and liaise with contractors, facility managers, and service providers.
  • Provide professional advice on property acquisition, disposal, leasing, and investment decisions.
  • Conduct market research and analyze property market trends.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, investment appraisals, and market analysis reports.
  • Advise clients on maximizing the value and performance of their real estate assets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, tenants, developers, financial institutions, and government agencies.
  • Negotiate lease agreements, management contracts, and property transactions.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide timely professional guidance.
  • Represent the company during property inspections, meetings, and negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant property laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of property inspections, valuations, leases, and client documentation.
  • Prepare periodic management reports and property performance updates.
  • Support due diligence activities during property transactions.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Estate Management and Valuation.
  • Proven years of experience in estate surveying, property valuation, or property management.
  • Membership of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) is required or in progress.
  • Registration with the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies, estate management principles, and Nigerian property laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, report-writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments.
