Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supermarket to ensure smooth and efficient service.

• Address staff concerns and implement disciplinary procedures where necessary.
• Oversee inventory control and stock replenishment.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely ordering of products.
• Minimize stock losses due to damage, theft, or expiration.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
• Ensure accurate pricing and product labeling across all departments.
• Monitor daily sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns, product displays, and merchandising activities.
• Analyze customer buying trends and recommend improvements to product offerings.
• Maintain high standards of product availability and presentation.
• Prepare and manage operational budgets.
• Monitor operating expenses and implement cost-control measures.
• Review daily sales reports, cash reconciliations, and financial performance.
• Ensure proper cash handling and compliance with financial procedures.
• Work with the finance team to achieve profitability targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
• Maintain security standards to safeguard customers, staff, and company assets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and retail regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Proven years of experience in supermarket, retail, or store operations.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
