Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport project personnel, visitors, equipment, and materials to designated locations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, including departure and arrival times, destinations, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required records.
  • Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations, company policies, and project HSE requirements.
  • Report vehicle faults promptly and coordinate routine servicing and maintenance.
  • Support project logistics and other transportation-related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a high standard of customer service when interacting with staff, clients, and stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid Nigerian Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional driving experience, preferably with a corporate organization, construction company, or infrastructure project.
  • Good knowledge of Lagos road networks and interstate routes across Nigeria.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and undertake long-distance driving for project assignments.
  • Ability to work on rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on project requirements.
  • Ability to perform routine daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues promptly.
  • Good record-keeping skills for maintaining accurate trip and fuel logs.
  • Responsible, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling extended driving assignments.
  • Must provide at least two (2) credible guarantors.


Working Conditions:

  • Shared company accommodation (2–3 per room).
  • Frequent travel across 8 target project states. Overtime is paid in accordance with company policy.
