DRIVER

• Responsibilities

Safely transport study staff, participants, and materials to various locations including regular trips between Molepolole, Gaborone, Ramotswa and Lobatse.

Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and organizational driving policies.

Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance needs, and ensure vehicles are kept clean and in good condition.

Assist with logistical tasks, including collection and delivery of parcels, documents, and supplies.

Prepare vehicles for trips, including refueling and maintaining accurate trip and fuel records.

Support fieldwork activities, including transporting research equipment and assisting team members in the field when needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned by study management.

• Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

At least 4 years of driving experience, preferably in an NGO, research, or health-related setting.

Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Minimum of O-Level/BGCSE/IGCSE Certificate.
