Prospect and acquire new clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and door-to-door sales activities.
Develop business opportunities within SMEs, corporate institutions, trade unions, and community groups.
Promote Group Life, Funeral, Commercial, and Personal Insurance solutions.
Secure opportunities to establish sales presence at employer open days, corporate wellness events, shopping malls, and community engagements.
Conduct comprehensive financial and risk needs analyses for prospective clients.
Recommend tailored insurance solutions that address individual and business risks.
Provide holistic advisory services across Life and Short-Term insurance products.
Manage the early lifecycle of policies to improve retention and premium persistency.
Identify cross-selling opportunities across Life and Short-Term insurance portfolios.
Deliver exceptional customer service while building long-term client relationships.
Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
Gather and provide feedback on customer needs and emerging market opportunities.
Act as a key market representative and advocate for the Bank’s Bancassurance value proposition.
- Requirements
Diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
Bachelor’s Degree will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years’ direct sales experience in insurance or financial services.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding external sales targets.
Experience selling both Life and Short-Term insurance products will be highly advantageous.
Valid Regulatory Examination Certificates (COP) or equivalent certification recognised by the relevant insurance regulator for: Long-Term Insurance; and Short-Term Insurance.
Additional insurance qualifications such as CIIB, AIISA, FIISA, or equivalent will be advantageous.
Valid driver’s licence.
Access to reliable personal transportation.
Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories.
