Odyssey NSW is a leading provider of Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) treatment and support services. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate AOD Treatment Worker to deliver our group program and provide individualised support to clients.
This role focuses on facilitating therapeutic groups, and supporting clients throughout the three stages of the residential program, whilst clients reside at an Odyssey House site. You’ll play a key role in establishing and maintaining recovery momentum and helping clients to develop their recovery plans and meet the goals of each stage of the program.

Desired Skills & Experience
- Relevant VET or tertiary qualification
- Significant experience supporting persons with alcohol and other drugs support needs, mental health support needs and/or co-existing support needs.
- Demonstrated experience undertaking brief and comprehensive assessment as well as ongoing assessment of client support needs.
- Experience in provision of groups for people with AOD and/or Mental Health support needs.
- Computer literacy including understanding of MS Office Suite and use of Client Management Systems.
- Demonstrable communication skills including report writing, case note writing.
- Hold a current NSW Driver's License.
- COVID vaccinated.
- Hold or have the ability to obtain a Criminal History Check (>1 yr old) and Working With Children clearance for paid employment.
- Unlimited right to live and work in Australia.
