Blind CV for recruitment agencies in Australia
A blind CV is a version of a résumé without the details that identify the candidate. Saplic creates one in a click from the candidate's profile: it hides their name, contact details, ID number and address, and gives you a PDF with your company logo, ready to send to your client or a hiring manager.
Summary: Saplic creates a free CV without the candidate's name, phone, email, ID number or address, so you can present profiles without exposing the person.

What is a blind CV?
A blind CV (also called an anonymous CV) is a résumé with the personal details removed —name, photo, contact details, ID number, age and address— leaving what you need to assess the profile: experience, education, skills and languages. Recruitment agencies use it to present candidates to a client without the client contacting them directly, and employers use it so the first screening happens without bias based on name, age or where someone lives.
How it works
-
Open the candidate's profile
In the Saplic ATS, go to the candidate's profile and click "Blind CV" on their CV card.
-
Choose the source
If the candidate has a Saplic profile and an uploaded file too, you choose which one to use: the profile or the text of the file.
-
Check what was hidden
The preview highlights every hidden detail, and a side panel lists everything that was removed, grouped by type. That list is not included in the PDF.
-
Fix anything you need to
You can edit the text directly in the preview and, if you change your mind, go back to the original result with one button.
-
Save it as a PDF
Save it as a PDF from your browser, with your company logo and name, and send it to your client however you usually do.
What you get
- Present candidates to your client without them being able to contact the candidates behind your agency's back.
- The first screening is based on experience and skills, not on name, age or address.
- No more redacting by hand: name, email, phone numbers, ID number, date of birth, links and references are hidden automatically.
- The PDF carries your company logo and name, not the Saplic brand.
- The candidate's original CV is never changed, and their history records who created the blind CV.
- It comes included in the applicant tracking system (ATS), free of charge and with nothing to install.
Who it's for
- Recruitment agencies and consultancies that present shortlists to their clients.
- Employers who want the hiring manager to see the profile without personal details.
- HR teams looking to reduce bias in screening.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Saplic blind CV free?
Yes. The blind CV comes included in Saplic's applicant tracking system, which is free for employers and recruitment agencies in Australia. No credit card required and no limit on blind CVs.
How do I create a blind CV in Saplic?
In the Saplic ATS, open the candidate's profile and click "Blind CV". Check the preview with the hidden details, fix anything you need to and save it as a PDF with your company logo.
What details does the blind CV hide?
Saplic hides first and last names (in full, in parts and as initials), email, phone numbers, ID numbers such as national ID, SSN, CURP, CPF or RUT, date of birth and age, address, LinkedIn and other links, @handles and the whole references section. When it comes from the profile, the photo is left out.
What candidate information stays visible?
Everything you need to assess the profile: job title, summary, experience (role, company, dates and duties), education, skills and languages with their level. When the CV comes from the Saplic profile, company and university names are not hidden.
Does it work with a scanned or image CV?
Saplic can't read the text of a CV that was scanned or saved as an image. In that case it lets you know, and you can paste the CV text in by hand: the redaction works the same on whatever you paste.
Is the redaction automatic? Does it use artificial intelligence?
It's automatic and done with text rules inside Saplic, with no artificial intelligence or external services. Like any automatic redaction it can miss something, which is why the screen shows you everything it hid and lets you edit the text before saving.
Does Saplic store or send the blind CV?
No. Saplic doesn't store the blind CV or send it by email: you download it as a PDF and send it yourself. The candidate's original CV is not changed, and their history records that a blind CV was created.
Does it work in my country?
Yes. The blind CV works the same in Australia and in every other country where Saplic operates, and it recognises ID document formats from different countries. The interface is available in Spanish, English, Portuguese, French and Indonesian.
