Job Description
- Examine and assess animals’ health.
- Diagnose and treat animal diseases and injuries.
- Administer vaccinations, medication, and other treatments.
- Conduct routine health checks and preventive care.
- Perform minor and major veterinary procedures where qualified.
- Advise animal owners on nutrition, breeding, hygiene, and general care.
- Monitor and control the spread of animal diseases.
- Maintain accurate animal treatment and medical records.
- Conduct farm and field visits.
- Handle veterinary emergencies.
- Ensure proper use and storage of veterinary medicines.
- Promote animal welfare and compliance with veterinary regulations.
- Prepare veterinary reports and health assessments.
- Educate clients on disease prevention and animal health practices.
