Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of AI annotators to achieve productivity and quality targets.

  • Allocate daily annotation tasks, monitor workload distribution, and track attendance and team performance.

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure annotation accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project guidelines before client delivery.

  • Coordinate project execution by monitoring timelines, resolving operational challenges, and escalating issues where necessary.

  • Train, mentor, and coach new and existing annotators on annotation tools, quality standards, and best practices.

  • Monitor and evaluate team KPIs, including annotation accuracy, productivity, turnaround time, error rates, and quality scores, while implementing performance improvement plans.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the annotation team and project managers, communicating project updates, client feedback, and operational changes.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, update annotation guidelines, and implement best practices to enhance quality and efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with data security, confidentiality, and company policies while maintaining accurate project documentation and performance reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in AI data annotation, data labeling, or a related operations environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role.

  • Proven experience managing teams, monitoring performance, and delivering projects within strict deadlines and quality standards.

  • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes, performance metrics, and continuous process improvement.

  • Proficiency in annotation platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), Google Workspace, and project management tools.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with a strong commitment to data confidentiality and operational excellence.
