As our Social Media Specialist, you’ll be the voice behind the brand — responsible for the day-to-day execution, content creation, publishing, community engagement, and performance optimisation across social media platforms.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who genuinely understands social media, pays close attention to the details, and treats every post as an opportunity to strengthen the brand.

• 💬 Create & Captivate – Develop engaging, relevant, and innovative content tailored to different social media platforms, formats, and audiences.
• 📲 Own the Daily Execution – Manage the day-to-day social media operation, including content preparation, scheduling, publishing, community engagement, and ensuring everything goes live accurately and on time.
• 🤝 Collaborate & Connect – Work closely with the Social Brand Manager, Digital Marketing team, and Creative Department to align content with overall brand and campaign strategies.
• 🎯 Know the Brand – Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, objectives, target audiences, and advertising approaches to ensure every piece of content has a clear purpose.
• 📊 Strategise & Analyse – Conduct competitor research, benchmark industry performance, identify target audiences, and use insights to strengthen content strategies.
• 📅 Plan with Purpose – Develop and maintain editorial calendars, content schedules, and syndication plans to ensure consistent and timely publishing.
• ✍️ Write to Engage – Create compelling captions, copy, and social content that reflect the right brand voice and encourage audiences to stop, read, engage, and take action.
• 💬 Build the Community – Actively monitor and engage with the online community, responding appropriately to comments, messages, and conversations while maintaining a warm and personable brand presence.
• 📈 Measure What Matters – Monitor social media analytics and engagement metrics, identify trends, and turn performance data into clear, actionable insights.
• 🎨 Guide Creative Direction – Collaborate with the Creative Department to communicate content requirements and guide the visual direction of promotional materials and digital assets.
• 🔍 Understand the Audience – Monitor audience behaviours, preferences, interests, and engagement patterns to continuously improve content and targeting.
• 🧠 Research & Innovate – Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, emerging formats, and new opportunities to keep the brand relevant and competitive.
• 🚀 Optimise & Elevate – Review campaign and content performance, learn from what works and what doesn’t, and make data-driven improvements to maximise impact.
• 🗂️ Report & Reflect – Maintain accurate records and prepare regular performance reports and recommendations for assigned accounts.
• 🛠️ Pitch In & Adapt – Take ownership, move quickly, support the wider team, and take on additional responsibilities when required in a fast-paced agency environment.
