Job Description

MicroSourcing is hiring a Senior Python Full-Stack Engineer to build and maintain production applications across Python/Flask backend services, Jinja templates, JavaScript interfaces, databases, APIs, AI systems, and third-party integrations.

The role involves developing end-to-end product features, agentic workflows, REST APIs, asynchronous processing, browser automation, and healthcare-related integrations while working within an established production codebase.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deliver full-stack product features using Python, Flask, Jinja, JavaScript, databases, APIs, and integrations

• Develop agentic workflows connecting web applications with AI and voice systems

• Design and troubleshoot REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks, retries, and background jobs

• Work with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Redis, and asynchronous processing

• Develop automated tests using pytest

• Diagnose application and integration issues using logs and monitoring tools

• Collaborate through GitHub pull requests, testing, staging validation, and production releases

• Use AI engineering tools to improve development productivity

• Own production issues from investigation through resolution

Required Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Python

• Full-stack development experience

• Experience with Flask or a comparable Python web framework

• Experience with relational databases, SQL, ORM development, and schema migrations

• Experience integrating third-party APIs

• Working knowledge of AWS and containerized environments

• Strong Git/GitHub practices

• Experience with AI-assisted software development using GPT/ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools

• Experience with asynchronous processing such as SQS, Redis, background workers, or similar systems

• Experience with Playwright or browser automation

• Experience with LLMs, agentic applications, tool calling, prompt-driven workflows, or voice AI

• Experience with healthcare software, EHR/FHIR integrations, security-sensitive applications, or regulated environments

• Strong troubleshooting and production issue resolution skills

• Strong written communication skills
