Senior Full-Stack Developer

Winnipeg, MB | Remote / Hybrid | Contract



Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer / Application Solutions Consultant to support a major technology initiative involving application development, complex integrations, and full software engineering lifecycle activities.

🔹 What You’ll Do

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, unit testing, integration, and system testing.
• Develop large-scale applications using React, MUI, and Node.js.
• Build and maintain applications involving complex API and data integrations.
• Develop responsive, high-quality user interfaces and reusable front-end components.
• Collaborate with solution designers and software developers to ensure solutions meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Participate in code reviews to support software quality and compliance.
• Prototype, implement, troubleshoot, and debug solutions to complex technical problems.
• Develop work plans for SDLC activities and manage delivery within project timelines and budgets.

🔹 Must-Have Experience

• 8+ years of senior full-stack software development experience.
• Strong experience with React, including MUI (Material UI).
• Strong Node.js development experience.
• Experience building large applications with complex API and data integration.
• Strong UI/UX and front-end development experience, including component architecture and responsive UI.
• 7+ years of experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka in complex applications.
• Strong programming, debugging, prototyping, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

🔹 Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with Go.
• Experience working on applications with demanding performance and reliability requirements.
• Experience collaborating closely with solution designers and development teams.

📌 Contract Details

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Work Arrangement: Remote or Hybrid

Onsite: First week onsite for orientation

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM CDT

Hours: 7 hours/day, excluding breaks and lunch
