Security Officer

*JOB TITLE: SECURITY OFFICER*

*Location:* Marina, Lagos

*Employment Type:* Full-time

*Salary:* ₦90,000 – ₦95,000 monthly (Net) + Pension

*Job Summary*

We are seeking a responsible, vigilant and professional Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, company property and assets.

The successful candidate will monitor the premises, control access, conduct routine patrols, respond to security incidents and maintain accurate security records.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised persons gain entry.

• Verify visitors, staff and vehicles in line with established security procedures.

• Conduct regular patrols and monitor CCTV cameras to identify suspicious activities or security risks.

• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies and unusual situations.

• Maintain accurate records of visitors, incidents and patrol activities.

• Report security breaches, suspicious activities and safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.

• Ensure entrances, exits, gates and restricted areas are properly secured.

• Protect company property, equipment and other assets from theft, damage or unauthorised access.

*Requirements*

• Minimum qualification of NCE or OND from a recognised institution.

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.

• Good knowledge of basic security procedures, access control and surveillance.

• Good observation, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergencies.

• High level of integrity, discipline, reliability and professionalism.

• Ability to maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.

• Security training/certification is an added advantage.

• First Aid and Fire Safety training is an added advantage.
