Are you passionate about empowering science teachers and driving educational excellence?

The Science Teachers' Association of Victoria (STAV) is seeking an exceptional science educator and leader to help shape the future of science teaching and learning across Victoria.

This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to influence professional learning, curriculum support, assessment resources and teacher networks at a statewide level. Working closely with the Executive Director and leading educators across Victoria, you will play a key role in strengthening science education and supporting thousands of teachers and students.

About the Opportunity

As Science Teacher Program Manager, you will:

  • Lead the design and delivery of inspiring professional learning that supports science teachers from Foundation to Year 12.
  • Shape innovative workshops, webinars, resources and digital learning experiences that respond to emerging educational needs.
  • Drive quality, excellence and continuous improvement across STAV's professional learning and assessment programs.
  • Build meaningful partnerships with teachers, schools, universities, government and industry.
  • Develop new products and opportunities that expand STAV's impact and support the sustainability of science education across Victoria.

About You

You are a respected science educator with strong curriculum and pedagogical expertise and a genuine passion for supporting teachers.

You bring:

  • Significant experience in science education, curriculum leadership or professional learning.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation and relationship-building skills.
  • A strategic mindset combined with business development fee-for-service and the ability to turn ideas into action.
  • Experience leading educational initiatives, projects or programs.
  • A commitment to innovation, collaboration and excellence in science education.
