At Richmind WA, we believe recovery is possible for everyone. We're looking for a compassionate and community-minded Recovery Support Worker to join our Individualised Community Living Strategy (ICLS) team in Albany and support people to build meaningful, connected lives in their communities. This role aligns with the ICLS Recovery Support Worker position, supporting participants to implement individualised recovery plans, strengthen community connections and work towards their recovery goals.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, 15 hours per week, primarily supporting Albany-based ICLS participants funded through the Mental Health Commission's Individualised Community Living Strategy (ICLS).

Initially, the role will focus on supporting one participant with complex support needs, with the opportunity to work with additional participants as the Albany ICLS program grows. Working days and hours can be negotiated to align with participant needs and your availability.

You will work closely with the Albany Fellowship House team, using Fellowship House as a connection point and base while delivering outreach support in participants' homes and throughout the Albany community.

About Albany Fellowship House

Albany Fellowship House is a welcoming community-based mental health recovery service where people can connect, participate and grow at their own pace.

The service provides drop-in support, counselling and a range of recovery-focused programs including art, music, tai chi, sewing groups and member-led activities. It is a place where people experiencing mental distress can build independence, develop social connections and strengthen their wellbeing in a safe and inclusive environment.

The ICLS program works alongside this recovery community, supporting people to develop the skills, confidence and connections needed to live meaningful lives in their chosen communities.

What You'll Do

As a Recovery Support Worker, you will:

• Provide recovery-focused, person-centred support based on individual recovery plans.
• Support participants to work towards goals related to daily living, wellbeing, community participation and independence.
• Build positive, respectful and empowering relationships with participants and their support networks.
• Assist participants to access community resources, services and recovery opportunities.
• Support recovery planning activities and Recovery Star reviews.
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation.
• Contribute to team culture within the ICLS Albany team and the wider ICLS Perth Based team,
• Work collaboratively with Fellowship House, clinical services, family members, carers and community stakeholders where appropriate.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, training and continuous improvement activities.
• Promote recovery, hope and self-determination in every interaction. These responsibilities align with the Recovery Support Worker ICLS position description, which emphasises recovery planning, stakeholder engagement, community connection and participant-centred support.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who:

• Has an understanding of recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practice.
• Can provide flexible, capacity-building support tailored to individual goals.
• Is comfortable working autonomously in community and home-based settings.
• Demonstrates strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Has sound written and administration skills.
• Understands the importance of dignity, choice and participant-led recovery.
• Holds a current driver's licence and is willing to travel throughout the Albany region.
• Has a Certificate IV in Mental Health, Community Services or a related field, or equivalent experience.
