Job Description
Job Purpose The Procurement Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all procurement activities for the company. The role ensures the timely acquisition of quality goods, services, equipment, and materials required for coffee production, processing, packaging, and distribution while achieving cost efficiency, compliance, and supplier performance standards.
Job Identification Duty Station: Lukaya / Miwula
Job Type: Full-Time
Reporting To: Director

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Onboard and bring in coffee farmers to build a strong local supply network.
  • Monitor order status and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Monitor market trends affecting coffee production inputs and logistics.
  • Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and select reliable suppliers.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.


Candidate Specification Location / Origin Requirement: Must be a resident of or natively from Lukaya or Miwula.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. (Note: Formal education requirements may be waived for candidates with strong, proven experience in coffee procurement).
Work Experience: 2–3 years of direct experience in coffee procurement (specifically within the Lukaya/Miwula areas).

Critical Skills & Competencies
  • Deep understanding of coffee quality grading and testing.
  • Ability to negotiate coffee prices effectively based on quality assessments.
  • Strategic sourcing, vendor management, and supplier negotiation.
  • Inventory control and supply chain management.
  • Leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.


Expected Remuneration UGX 1,000,000 monthly gross (Negotiable depending on experience).
