Receive, interpret, and validate prescriptions from clinicians.
Dispense medicines accurately according to prescriptions and hospital policies.
Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, storage, side effects, and adherence.
Prepare, label, package, and issue medications safely.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and drug registers.
Monitor stock levels, conduct stock-taking, and report shortages or expiries.
Ensure proper storage of medicines according to manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
Support procurement and inventory management of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
Participate in quality assurance, infection prevention, and medication safety activities.
Collaborate with pharmacists, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations and hospital policies.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or hospital administration.
