Permanent Makeup Artist (PMU)

Location: Awka, Anambra State

Swiftly Support is recruiting for a trained Permanent Makeup Artist with demonstrable practical competence in the PMU services offered, such as brows, lip blush or eyeliner where within the artist's training and local regulations. Safety, informed consent and natural-looking, consistent results are essential.

Key Responsibilities

·        Conduct a thorough consultation covering desired results, suitability, relevant health history, allergies, contraindications, expectations and consent.

·        Explain the procedure, healing process, limitations, risks, aftercare and any touch-up policy before treatment.

·        Perform only techniques for which the artist is trained, insured and legally authorised, following strict hygiene and infection-control standards.

·        Use approved sterile/single-use supplies where required, maintain equipment safely and dispose of sharps and waste correctly.

·        Record pigments, procedure details, consent, aftercare instructions and follow-up needs accurately.

·        Provide written aftercare and arrange appropriate follow-up; respond professionally to concerns and escalate adverse reactions promptly.

·        Never guarantee results, treat contraindications against protocol or perform procedures outside training or legal requirements.

Requirements / Qualifications

·        Recognised PMU training and demonstrable experience in the specific procedures offered.

·        Portfolio of healed results where available and willingness to complete a practical assessment.

·        Strong knowledge of skin preparation, pigment handling, sanitation, contraindications, aftercare and infection prevention.

·        Current licences, registration, insurance or other credentials required by local law.

What Success Looks Like

Quality and consistency of healed results; customer satisfaction; consent and record completeness; hygiene compliance; aftercare/follow-up completion; complaint and complication handling.

Reporting line: Operations Coordinator / Store Manager, except where a specific escalation or external-service relationship applies.
