About the Intensive Mobile Treatment Team
The team provides specialist mental health assessment and intervention for some of the most vulnerable and at-risk young people in our community, as well as their families and support networks. Through a combination of outreach and clinic-based appointments, the team works to provide consistent, coordinated care for young people with complex needs who may be engaged with multiple service systems. You'll be supported through regular supervision, reflective practice and ongoing professional development.
About the role
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will manage a designated caseload of young people, providing specialist mental health assessment and intervention to support their mental health and wellbeing. You will work closely with young people, their families and support networks to deliver coordinated, person-centred care.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- AHPRA registration for Occupational Therapists, Registered Psychiatric Nurses and Clinical Psychologists, or eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Workers.
- Postgraduate clinical experience and/or postgraduate training in child and adolescent mental health or an allied field.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and work in partnership with consumers, carers, families and other service providers.
- Demonstrated high level of conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
