Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Salary: ₦120,000 monthly

Experience: 2–3 years

Requirements

● BMLS or equivalent recognised qualification in Medical Laboratory Science.

● Valid registration and practising licence with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).

● Minimum of 2–3 years relevant professional experience.

● Good knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control and safety protocols.

● Good communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

● Commitment to professional standards, confidentiality and patient care.

Responsibilities

● Perform laboratory investigations within the scope of professional practice.

● Receive, process and analyse clinical specimens appropriately.

● Ensure accurate and timely laboratory results.

● Maintain accurate patient records and laboratory documentation.

● Carry out and document quality control procedures.

● Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to standard procedures.

● Adhere strictly to laboratory safety, infection control and confidentiality protocols.

● Ensure proper handling, storage and disposal of specimens and laboratory materials.

● Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support accurate and timely diagnosis.
