Position: Medical Laboratory Technician

Salary: ₦80,000 monthly

Experience: 1–2 years

Requirements

● Bsc, HND or OND in Medical Laboratory Technology.

● Valid registration and practising licence with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), as applicable.

● Minimum of 1–2 years relevant professional experience.

● Good knowledge of routine laboratory procedures and safety protocols.

● Ability to handle and process specimens appropriately.

● Good communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work effectively with other laboratory and healthcare staff.

● Commitment to professional standards, confidentiality and patient safety.

Responsibilities

● Receive, label and process patient specimens appropriately.

● Perform assigned laboratory procedures within the scope of practice.

● Assist with routine laboratory investigations.

● Maintain accurate patient and laboratory records.

● Assist with quality control procedures.

● Operate and care for laboratory equipment appropriately.

● Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laboratory work area.

● Adhere strictly to laboratory safety, infection control and confidentiality protocols.

● Report equipment issues or other concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
