UNV is building a talent pool of logistics and supply chain professionals for future opportunities across the Caribbean.

The UNV programme is building a regional talent pool of logistics and supply chain professionals for future UN opportunities across the Caribbean:

Professionals with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience are encouraged to register.

Profiles of interest include:

  • Warehouse Supervisors and Storekeepers
  • Inventory Controllers
  • Procurement and Operations Assistants
  • Transport and Distribution Coordinators
  • Freight and Shipping Professionals
  • Port and Airport Operations Personnel
  • Humanitarian Logistics Professionals
  • Industrial Engineers
  • Logistics Technicians
  • Warehouse Operations Assistants
  • Inventory and Stock Management Professionals

Professionals from a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to register, including social work, sociology, psychology, anthropology, community development, political science, public administration, international relations, development studies, economics, statistics and other related fields.

UNV assignments may include:

  • Assignment Preparation Grant (USD 350)
  • Relocation support where applicable

  • 2.5 days of annual leave per month

  • End-of-assignment allowance of USD 120 per month of completed service

Indicative Living Allowance ranges include:

  • Barbados: BBD 4,067.41 – BBD 7,117.94 per month

Guyana:

  • GYD

  • Jamaica: JMD 201,790.33 – JMD 353,133.08 per month
  • Trinidad & Tobago: TTD 13,756.83 – TTD 24,074.51 per month
