• JOB DESCRIPTION – CROSS-BORDER LOGISTICS OFFICER

Position:

• Cross-Border Logistics Officer

Department:

• Logistics

Reports To:

• Operations Manager / Logistics Manager
• Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor cross-border transportation of goods and equipment.

Prepare and verify customs, import/export, and transport documentation.

Liaise with customs authorities, clearing agents, transporters, and clients.

Track shipments and ensure timely delivery across borders.

Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and logistics activities.

Resolve delays, documentation issues, and other transportation challenges.

Prepare logistics reports and provide regular updates to management.

• Requirements

Diploma or degree in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics, preferably cross-border operations.

Knowledge of customs and border clearance procedures.

Good communication, coordination, and organisational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
