Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and contributing to the Firm's business development strategy by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and participating in networking, marketing, and client engagement initiatives.
  • Advising clients on a broad range of corporate, commercial, regulatory, and governance matters.
  • Advising on company incorporations, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements, including shareholder agreements, service agreements, supply agreements, financing documents, and other transaction documents.
  • Providing legal support on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and corporate secretarial matters.
  • Conducting legal due diligence and preparing legal opinions, transaction documents, and advisory memoranda.
  • Representing clients in litigation, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing pleadings, briefs, witness statements, and other court processes.
  • Developing litigation strategies and effectively managing cases from commencement through resolution.
  • Appearing before courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies where required.
  • Managing client relationships by providing timely, practical, and commercially focused legal advice.
  • Delivering high-quality legal services while maintaining the Firm's professional standards.
  • Contributing to thought leadership through legal articles, client alerts, seminars, and presentations.
  • Providing leadership, supervision, and mentorship to junior lawyers, interns, and support staff where required.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues across practice groups on multidisciplinary matters.
  • Managing multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in corporate, commercial, and litigation practice to ensure clients receive current and strategic legal advice.


Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of a BSC
  • 4 years of previous experience in a similar role
