Job Purpose The Junior IT Trainer supports the delivery of training programs for clients adopting our client's systems. This role combines content creation, training administrative tasks, and entry-level session delivery, focusing primarily on seamless user onboarding and daily software utilization.
Key Responsibilities
• Training Delivery Assistance: Conduct standard software training sessions, onboarding client employees on day-to-day productivity tools, basic cloud navigation, and hosted telephony feature settings.
• Material & Content Creation: Develop and maintain structured user documentation, simple-language technical manuals, quick-start guides, and short video tutorials.
• Cybersecurity Support: Facilitate baseline security awareness training modules and assist in monitoring client performance metrics during simulated phishing campaigns.
• Administrative Coordination: Handle the logistics of scheduling training workshops, tracking user completion records, and compiling feedback evaluations.
• Helpdesk Support Collaboration: Analyze incoming low-level support ticket patterns to identify what common user errors require the creation of new self-help training assets.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Information Technology, or an educational field with technical focus.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in an IT helpdesk, customer support, or entry-level training role.
• Certifications: Initial IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+) or a foundational training certificate are highly advantageous.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, a patient mindset for technical troubleshooting, and proficiency with desktop applications and collaborative platforms.
