Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end recruitment: job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and reference checks.
  • Prepare and manage employment documentation, including offer letters, contracts, and onboarding packs, in line with company house style.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential staff records, including personnel files, leave records, and the staff database.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction for new hires, ensuring a smooth first-week experience.
  • Track staff leaves, attendance, and other HR administrative processes.
  • Support the performance appraisal cycle, including scheduling, documentation, and consolidation of review data.
  • Assist with payroll administration inputs (attendance, leave, deductions) in coordination with Finance.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with the Labour Act, NDPA 2023, Pension Reform Act 2014, and other applicable Nigerian employment regulations.
  • Manage day-to-day office administration, including vendor coordination, procurement of office supplies, and facilities upkeep.
  • Support the Finance & Administration Manager with HMO administration, staff welfare processes, and exit/clearance procedures.
  • Handle general correspondence, filing, and administrative support for the leadership team as required.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive staff and company information.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in an HR & Administration role, ideally within a fast-paced services, agency, or corporate environment.
  • Working knowledge of Nigerian labour law and statutory HR compliance requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; familiarity with HR software or payroll systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and sound judgement in handling confidential matters.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • A professional HR certification (e.g. CIPM, CIPD) is an advantage but not mandatory.
